Head of HR - UK

Your tasks
As the Head of HR, you will lead our HR department, overseeing all aspects of Human Resources operations for our UK offices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's goals, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring HR initiatives support the growth and success of our organization. The Head of HR will report directly to the SVP Ground Handling as well as to the VP Human Resources. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall mission and objectives
  • Lead and manage the local HR Teams and shared services, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Implement a Center of Expertise for Mass Recruitment in Europe
  • Support in regional Start-ups and manage the integration of new sites/acquired businesses
  • Consult managers and employees in all HR related matters
  • Coordinate and perform negotiations with unions and representatives
  • Implement talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain talent
  • Oversee performance management systems and processes, including performance evaluations, career development, and succession planning
  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent while ensuring fairness and compliance
  • Lead HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations in the UK
  • Partner with leadership to address employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies
  • Participation in global HR projects and initiatives

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience ( 5-7 years) as an HR Director or similar senior HR role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of UK employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as well as hands on mentality
