Your tasks

You will be working in the Ramp Operations Team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-performance standards in the provision of the smooth, timely and accurate processing of passenger baggage and aircraft turnaround
You should be able to demonstrate a hardworking, adaptable attitude and be able to thrive on variety in the workplace. A demonstrable background in the aviation industry, Customer Service and Airside exposure would be an asset.

Your Tasks:

Complete processes and activities, in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations and Airline(s), Airport(s) and company procedures.
Perform accurate and efficient sortation of outbound passenger baggage.
Take active involvement in all Aircraft Turnaround processes (including but not limited to aircraft arrival, baggage offload, baggage onload, aircraft departure) as instructed by Ramp Team Leader.
Safe and efficient operation of Ground Service Equipment.
Regular preventative maintenance within the operational environment (including but not limited to removal of FOD, Ground Service Equipment checks/cleaning).
Provide assistance and input to any baggage loading/unloading problems with accuracy and efficiency ensuring Team Leaders are kept informed.
Work cohesively as part of the team to maximise co-operation leading to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
Liaise and work together with other departments to ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
Ensure all Airline Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded.
Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded.
All performance variances must be actioned promptly and honestly to ensure the integrity of the Skytanking Group.
Compliance of all Regulatory Bodies, HSE, Airline(s) Airports(s) and company procedures.
Ability to perform all tasks with accuracy, efficiency and in a safe manner within defined time constraints.

Your profile

Physical ability to carry heavier goods.
Good verbal communication Skills.
Ability to read and write and understand written instruction and information.
Proactive approach to all work requirements and team centred ethos.
Flexible to work irregular hours and on weekends.
A valid driving license B.
Ramp experience, trained to operate equipment, desiderable.
Ability to communicate in italian, English is a plus.

All'interno del Team delle Operazioni Ramp, il candidato avrà la responsabilità di garantire un'elevata performance nelle operazioni di trattamento dei bagagli dei passeggeri e di turnaround degli aeromobili, assicurando che tutti i processi vengano eseguiti in modo fluido, tempestivo e preciso.

Mansioni principali:
• Eseguire i processi e le attività in conformità con le normative, nonché le procedure delle compagnie aeree, degli aeroporti e aziendali.
• Effettuare la corretta e efficiente separazione dei bagagli in partenza.
• Partecipare attivamente ai processi di turnaround degli aeromobili (inclusi ma non limitati a: arrivo dell’aeromobile, scarico e carico bagagli, partenza dell’aeromobile) come istruito dal Ramp Team Leader.
• Gestire in sicurezza e in modo efficiente l'uso delle attrezzature di servizio a terra.
• Effettuare una manutenzione preventiva regolare nell'ambiente operativo (inclusa la rimozione di FOD, ispezione e pulizia delle attrezzature di servizio a terra).
• Fornire assistenza e soluzioni a problemi relativi al carico/scarico dei bagagli, con precisione ed efficienza, mantenendo i Team Leader costantemente informati.
• Lavorare in modo coeso all'interno del team, favorendo la cooperazione e migliorando l'efficienza dell'operazione.
• Collaborare con altri dipartimenti per garantire ai nostri clienti un servizio di alta qualità.
• Garantire il rispetto degli accordi sui livelli di servizio con le compagnie aeree.
• Assicurarsi che tutti gli indicatori di performance siano raggiunti o superati.
• Agire prontamente e in modo trasparente per gestire le eventuali deviazioni di performance, mantenendo l'integrità del gruppo Skytanking.
• Assicurarsi di rispettare tutte le normative e le procedure di HSE, delle compagnie aeree e dell'aeroporto.
• Eseguire tutte le mansioni con precisione, efficienza e in sicurezza, rispettando i vincoli temporali.

Il tuo profilo

• Capacità fisica di sollevare e trasportare carichi pesanti.
• Buone capacità di comunicazione verbale.
• Capacità di leggere, scrivere e comprendere le istruzioni e le informazioni scritte.
• Atteggiamento proattivo nei confronti delle attività lavorative e spirito di squadra.
• Disponibilità a lavorare su turni, nei fine settimana e durante le festività.
• Patente di guida valida di tipo B.
• Esperienza nel settore Ramp e formazione per operare attrezzature (preferibile).
• Capacità di comunicare in italiano. La conoscenza dell'inglese è un plus.
